Shy, Retiring Zlatan Ibrahimovic Decides He's Now LITERALLY the King of Sweden

2017-01-11 10:23:35 | Author:Mark Jones | Source:Mirror
Abstract: The Manchester United star is not one to shy away from the limelight, as he proved with his latest Instagram post.

If only Zlatan Ibrahimovic had a little more confidence, eh?

The super Swede has taken English football by storm after arriving at Manchester United last summer, with his legendary self-confidence showing no let-up as he's led the line for Jose Mourinho's side.

Zlatan has made life a living hell for many a defender, and it seems as though he's determined to continue to reign over the division, at least if some of his Instagram activity is anything to go by.

Because over there he's only gone and likened himself to the king of Sweden.

Posting a mocked up image that had been sent to him by a fan, Zlatan declared himself "Carl XVII Guztaf" in his post, basically the successor to the current king Carl XVI Gustaf who has sat on the throne since 1973.

The forward is Sweden's all-time top goalscorer with 62 goals, but clearly has a higher status in mind once he's done playing.

To be fair, the crown would probably suit him.
