And Spanish newspaper Sport claims Barcelona are quietly confident of completing a deal after holding talks with Verratti on the party island of Ibiza just yesterday.
The meeting between Verratti, his agent Donato Di Campli and Barca director Javier Bordas was described as “informal”.

The Italy international apparently told Bordas that he intends to put even more pressure on boss Unai Emery, who is reluctant to sell after missing out on the Ligue 1 title in his first season.
Verratti would reportedly pocket wages worth £170,000-a-week should he move to Spain.

The Italy international is also believed to be a target for Chelsea
Cesc Fabregas is set to be sold by the Blues following their triumphant Premier League campaign, and Verratti could be the perfect man to partner N’Golo Kante next term.
